Aché with Monica Ortiz Rossi
Reclaim your aché (the universal life force present in all things) as you dance and sweat to an energetic mix of salsa, merengue, hip hop, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Brazilian, West African, and other fun dance styles. Monica’s focus on alignment and technique will help you “shake it and not break it” while fully releasing your body in a fun and safe environment. Monica Ortiz Rossi is a certified Yoga and Zumba instructor with a passion for helping people freely and fully express themselves through movement. She has danced with Fusha Dance company and toured as a hip hop and contemporary dancer, television host, and singer.
Congocise with Funmilayo

Dive into a unique cardio dance workout created by Funmilayo and move to a fusion of Congolese, Latin, Brazilian, Jamaican, Cuban, Haitian, Colombian, Hip-Hop, Soca, Old-School and Reggaeton dance styles. Its intuitive, easy-to-learn movements and gradual increase in cardio training create a great form of exercise for people of all ages and levels of fitness. Tools such as hoops, lappas, and light weights will also be used to maximize your workout. As the Artistic Director of Fusha Dance Company and a master dance instructor for 20 years, Funmilayo is devoted to educating and empowering people through the healing power of dance.
Zumba with Maria Monge
Come shake it like you’ve got nothing to lose! Maria will get you dancing and sweating to an energetic mix of African, Hip Hop, House, Salsa, and Merengue dance styles (to name a few), and give you that special dance mojo to power you through the rest of your week. Maria Monge is a dancer, choreographer, and certified fitness instructor with a B.A. in Dance from California State University. She is a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Dance Ministry and Bombazo Dance Company, attended the Makeda Thomas Dance and Performance Institute in Trinidad, and has studied under Ronald K. Brown, Baba Richard Gonzalez, Urban Bush Women, Robin Dunn, and Francine E. Ott/The Walk.
